Yaesu FT-818

Time to play "Is it real or is it fake?" But, this time it is with a Japansese radio... a Yaesu FT-818? Looks like a photoshop job to me.

Thats the third item from googling "FT-818".
    A blog from August 2010.

The display is from the ICOM IC-7000 advertisement.

I do wish there would be an updated FT-817 though.

  2. Hi all,
The original message is from August 5 2010 by Roger the G3XBM.
    See: http://g3xbm-qrp.blogspot.com/2010/08/ft818.html
Would be nice to have a radio like this, inclusive the 70 MHz band and for a price like the FT-817.
70 MHz because this band is open since Jan. 1 for radio-amateurs in the Netherlands and some other Country's.
