So Google has an alternative to Evernote and they are calling it Google Keep. I'd be kinda excited about that, but given the coming demise of Google Reader, I'm afraid of making a commitment.
Honestly, I am very seriously considering finding an alternative to GMail at this point... God forbid they decide to pull the plug on that, considering how many people like me would be all bailing all at once. The loading on Google Reader alternatives over the past week was... epic.
I was only half kidding about asking the Google Apps people about Reader when I was on that webinar with them. They have just made one of the potential risks of cloud services very real for a bunch of IT geeks. Geeks that are the gatekeepers for moving toward or away from the cloud.
