Cord Cutting

ESPN has been one of the main reasons I've not considered cutting the cord and dumping cable TV. Things are starting to get interesting as Dish announces a streaming service that includes ESPN for $20/month:
"But what is Sling TV? For $20 a month — yes, twenty dollars — you get access to a lineup of cable networks that includes TNT, TBS, CNN, Food Network, HGTV, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, the Disney Channel, ESPN, and ESPN2. ESPN is obviously a huge get for Dish and could earn Sling TV plenty of customers all on its own."

Molon Labe Sign on Gameday

We're winning? Actually, I have no idea why someone would be holding up a sign at College Gameday that reads "Molon Labe" and has a picture of Bert (as in "and Ernie"). My Google-fu was weak on trying to figure this out.

Condredge Holloway Story

I watched the Condredge Holloway Story last night.

I'm not sure this is the same highlight, but they showed one video where he was touched by all eleven players on the opposing team and still could not be stopped. Ridiculous.

Holloway gives Bear Bryant a lot of credit for being honest about the fact that Alabama was not ready for a black quarterback. The editing almost sound like being up front about that fact was a bigger deal than having a university that could accept him as the leader of their team.

Definitely worth the hour I spent to watch. Check your local listings for future showings.
