Baofeng UV-3R: The Manual

There have been a lot of posts about the manual being incomplete and/or just plain wrong. Since I don't have my radio, I can't confirm that this one is incorrect, but just a heads up.

    Hi

    This manual is miles out of date

    My radio has 18 menu options & not 8

    14 ~ Save
    15 ~ TOT (Time out timer)
    16 ~ ScanM
    17 ~ RelayM
    18 ~ BCLO

    Thanks for posting. You are absolutely correct.

    There is a slightly newer version (12 menus) that has been posted on the UV-3R Yahoo Group in the Files section, but you have to join the group to get access.

    I've been trying to compile a list of the short-comings of the old manual and will post as soon as I have something useful.
