Support is added in today's build:Via the UV-3R Yahoo Group

This is a first stab and only represents a couple hours of work, but it
seems to work for me. Feedback is appreciated, although I'd prefer it go
to the chirp_users list if possible. Future fixes and enhancement
announcements go to that list.
Thanks!

Tried a relatively new UV-3R with firmware from DIFONA on Debian 5. Works as expected. I am glad I do not need to install Windows just to use my rig. Many thanks Dan for your work.
ReplyDeleteSweet - it lives up to its billing: CHIRP is a free *cross-platform*, cross-radio programming tool.
