$375? Wow. If I were in the market for a dual-band rig and had that kind of budget I'd be looking at a Yaesu, Kenwood, or Icom since all of those manufacturers have dual-banders for close to the same price.
Looks like Wouxun has gotten a little bit too big for their britches.

Apart from price, there are other things to take into account.
ReplyDelete1. Service manuals. There isn't much you can't repair yourself, thanks to extensive docs which are available for the 'big three'.
2. Buying the 'unknown'. How does it perform? Do you like to be a guinea pig of sorts?
Now this is fine when the price is so low that you can afford to buy a melon. This is not the case here.
Given how bad the user guides are, I could not imagine an actual service manual.
