Wouxun KG-UV920R: July Brochure

Wouxun posted an update to the Yahoo Group with a new brochure for the KG-UV920R. I wonder if "marketed" means available for sale/brought to market or just advertised.

    Looks like they dropped the receive capability for the HF and Air bands. And I don't see the 2.5 step. Otherwise it still looks pretty good, depending on the price. I got my license last Dec, bought their handheld and I've been waiting for their mobile to install it in my truck.

      Typically for commercial users - it is the ability to disable a radio.

    Yes, it seems like they dropped all the extra functionality which would this transceiver stand out of the crowd. Now more than ever the price should compensate this. If not, a Yaesu FT-8800 or 8900 is a safer bet.

    I called cheapham.com.
    They have them available this month with the 2.5K.
    Under $300
