my pink one works GREAT on GMRS and as a scanner on local Press, Fire and Police within the freq range of the radio. And you get 99 channels with the software programming

I have just bought a blue one from an eBay dealer, they do indeed program 400 to 480 Mhz 99 Channels, using a Yaesu vertex VX2 / 5 programming cable, easiest way to get on is the universal 6 in 1 programming cable set from many ebay dealers for around £5 ($7) here in the UK. Software should be available from the TDX website but download failed for me, found it on a Russian site. Can anyone suggest a site i can upload it to? Steve G4WWK

ReplyDeleteI ordered a 4-046Y earpiece-mic from 409shop for $2.10
Arrived today, works fine very pleased.
So can confirm Yaesu 1 pin accessories on a 3.5mm 4 ring plug work OK.
