"You are the FIRST to get a glimpse at what is coming VERY SOON!
So why all of the fuss you may be asking? We have been working very hard and are bringing FOUR completely new radios out for every user. We have taken your feedback and are introducing the WORLD'S FIRST radios to be completely multi-user capable - including GMRS and MURS pre-programmed capabilities.
You didn't think we would just stop there did you? Since we have the best FANS we also are including: Crossband Repeater Capabilities, Dual Simultaneous Receivers, 6 Band Reception, NOAA Weather Channels and Alerts, 7 Encoding and Decoding Methods, and Upgradable Firmware. There is still so much more to be revealed!
This is only the start of our radio revolution - the official details and announcement are only a week away - TRUST US; the anticipation is killing us too!

Will have to wait then, before ordering a new HT
ReplyDeleteNo airband...
ReplyDeleteBaofeng radios are painful to listen to.Most using them are barely audible, mushy modulation.
ReplyDeleteHopefully these newer models have been improved.Otherwise, just more radio pollution.
> the things you do
ReplyDelete30-510MHz civilian SDR handheld? no? :(
> 7 Encoding and Decoding Methods
AHAHAHahahahahaha
>Upgradable Firmware
ah, so its another 5r, but this time with flashable mcu, yay ...
Needed:
ReplyDelete1.Better squelch tail handing. Hearing that rip every transmission is so irritating after just a short time.
2. Interchangable batteries between models. You tried once but that was it. And it was only half way done. (Get out the Dremel)
3. A MANUAL THAT IS READABLE IN ENGLISH AND USEFUL!!! That has NEVER happened yet.
4. Fast scanning rate. 2 or 3 a second is not sufficient.
5. Don't put the belt clip on the batter (like one other has done already).
Thanks for the crossband.
Will wait for more...

I thought they weren't called Baofeng anymore but something else? Pofunk or something. There was a big whooptydoo about that a while back.
