Baofeng UV-3R: Modification Loud Receive Audio

I posted a link to this modification earlier, but it was in the context of taking the rig apart, so I wanted to add this post.

There have been three consistent complaints about the UV-3R:
1. Slow scan speed
2. Spurious emissions/harmonics issue
3. Loud receive audio

OM1LD has the fix for the Loud Receive Audio.
