Wouxun KG-UV920R: Soon? Price?

Matt is hearing rumors that the KG-UV920R is soon to make an appearance. I would think his sources were pretty good. He is also speculating about the price. I think $250 is a good guess. When we first heard about the KG-UV920R, my guess was $200, but it seems that prices are rising as the Wouxun brand becomes stronger. At $200, it is a no brainer for me. At $250, I'm gonna do a little research as I might forgo a few features and get a Yaesu or Icom rig for similar money.

    I hope that it will be cheaper then that!
    Maybe 190 or max. 200 USD, if they do that then
    these radios will sell like hell!
    Better a cheaper price, making less money per radio but sell like hell, then more like the Big Brands and make per radio more money, but sell less...

    PA2OLD - not really. Considering all of the work and effort and capital that goes into production would you rather sell 100 units making $25 profit each or 1000 units and make only $2.50 each?

    1:100 chance of failure? Would you rather process 1 returned unit or 10?

    Do you want to hire another person to ship 1000 units or box up and mail 100 units yourself? Your credit card processor charges a flat fee of $2.00 per transaction - do you want to give them $200 or $2000?

    And on and on
