Vero UV-X5: Micro HT Tribander

My previous post said that the HT in the picture looked like a TYT TH-UV3R, but Mike (G0CVZ) of UV3R.com has identified it as the Vero UV-X5 - a tri-band radio: 136-174, 400-470, 245-246 MHz.

    it is a TYT TH-UV3R with software to open 220MHz.
    i've done it to my TYT TH-UV3R and it put a watt out on 220MHz

    But of course still only dual display, 2m/70cm, 2m/220, 70cm/220
    So put one band channels in mem, and then switch say vfo 2m, vfo 70cm, mem 220.
