Go Vols

I know most people don't follow this blog to learn about my football interests, but this tweet was too good to resist. (It means more if you know the Vols had lost the last 11 games to Florida and were down 3-21 at the half.)

Peyton

Because we don't have much to cheer for with the current state of our football program, we can focus on our glorious past.

Sportsmanship

Very cool...
"The release went on to state that “[d]espite being engaged in a heated conference game, both teams set aside their battle to show support for a football player, regardless of which uniform he wore. The act displayed both great sportsmanship by the teams gathered as one support unit as well as the impact that Lattimore had on his sport.”"

Big Hit

Wow. You probably had to be watching the game to get the fill effect, because South Carolina had just been robbed by a horrible call.

University of Tennessee, Los Angeles

The USC Trojans continue to build their program using former University of Tennessee talent. Rumor has it that David Cutcliffe may be hired as OC, Jay Graham as running backs coach, and Phil Fulmer will take responsibility for the offensive line. Negotiations are underway to replace Monte with John Chavis according to my made-up sources.

ClayTravisBGID Wow, did Lane Kiffin really hire Tee Martin at USC? Manning for OC next? Seriously, great hire.Wed, Feb 15 21:51:01 from Tweetbot for iOS
