Loretta, Geek Squad has checked your device in for repair

I mentioned that I got in early with a gmail account and people mistakenly use my address as their own.

I just got an e-mail from the Geek Squad.
"Hello Loretta,
Your device has been checked in at the Geek Squad® Precinct at your local Best Buy® store. We look forward to repairing it and getting it back to you soon."

I'm going to take a wild guess here... if Loretta doesn't know her e-mail address, fixing the device is going to be an uphill battle.

Coin

Coin:
"Q. What is a Coin?
A. Coin is a connected device that can hold and behave like the cards you already carry. Coin works with your debit cards, credit cards, gift cards, loyalty cards and membership cards. Instead of carrying several cards you carry one Coin. Multiple accounts and information all in one place."
Leveraging the existing card form factor and transaction process (aka the swipe) is really smart. I'm surprised it will only store 8 cards at a time on the Coin.

2013 Running

I finished a 12 mile run today. I don't think I will run any more before midnight, so that brings my total to 895 miles for the year.

I'd like to break 1,000 in a year.

Baofeng UV-3R: The Other Blue

I'm sure this is old and not terribly interesting news, but I just stumbled across the light blue UV-3R. I remember when all the colors used to be a big deal. Now, we expect five colors and sixty varieties of the case.
