It is good to be prepared. As we have talked about before, the early indications are that we are due for a big winter.
ReplyDeleteOkay maybe not a "Stark" winter of wolves, ice, and the Black Watch but still for East Tennessee...I could see several Kroger runs for Bread and Milk.
Also, I am looking forward to the local weather guys going to the "Severe Weather Center". I always picture a Cold War Bunker with a separate power supply, recycled air and water, and a serious stored food supply. I am always disappointed because it looks a lot like the same desk with two more flat panels added.

ReplyDeleteAgreed, but I think it is even better when they step out on the veranda to prove it is snowing. Why don't they do the same in summer? I picture the weather girl/boy standing there, lemonade in hand, saying how hot it is today.
