Best 3-Point Shooter

I agree. Chris Lofton is the best 3-point shooter of all time. My favorite UT basketball teams all include Chris Lofton. Those teams worked hard, were extremely entertaining with their fast pace and pressure defense, and had a lot of success. It would be hard not to like them.

Dale Ellis #14

I grew up watching UT sports. One of my favorite players of all time was Dale Ellis. He wore #14 and that became my "favorite number" as a youngster. I worn #14 every chance I got when playing sports. Dale was at the UT Men's Basketball practice tonight and Wes Rucker sent out these two gems:

UT Student Housing at Gettysvue

UT will use Bruce Pearl's house as student housing. They should have given it that status before the whole recruiting violation/lying to the NCAA thing. Heck, Little Pearl probably already spent a lot of time there.

Rules for Recruiting

As more information comes out about UT's NCAA woes (here, here, here), I have come up with the universal rules for recruiting.

1. Don't cheat.
2. If you cheat, don't get caught.
3. If you get caught, don't lie.

This is why I love sports

Wes Rucker has done the analysis and the Vols can finish anywhere from 2nd to 5th in the East depending on the outcome of three games this week-end.

Here is the best scenario:

"Alabama beats Georgia, Florida beats Vanderbilt, Tennessee beats Kentucky
1. Florida 13-3
2. Tennessee 9-7
3. Kentucky 9-7
4. Vanderbilt 9-7
5. Georgia 9-7"

Posterized

I was at this game when Scotty went off. He showed us what we thought he would do every game. I think he had three crazy dunks that game and this one was just my second favorite. The best one was when he went slashing across the lane and just left everyone flat footed. He saved them for the second half so he could jam in front of the students and the bench.
