Mr. Alan Schulman (Canton City Council President):
If you aren't going to address the issue of a near homicidal police officer, then I don't think you need to be talking (or whining) about anything else. And I agree with WizardPC, I don't think there is a better time or place to carry.
After hearing more about this incident, it finally clicked. I've seen that police officer...

Do you use your real name on-line?
Do you use your real name on-line?
No.
I don't want my hobbies or politics to mix with my work place or even my different groups of friends. I've not written about it, but this is one reason I think Google Plus might beat (or at least force a change at) Facebook. With Google Plus, you can decide which groups (Circles) of people can see what posts, pictures, etc.

Every now and then I found out that a friend has missed a viral video or two. In case you happened to miss out as well, I present the following as a public service.
Happy National Scotch Day!
Happy National Scotch Day!
The link above has a few serving suggestions which go well beyond my usual "cut with a little water" concoction. (I don't always drink Scotch, but when I do...). The Smokey Scotsman looks interesting to me:

CircuitBee - Online Circuit Schematics Sharing
CircuitBee:
Via Make
CircuitBee takes your schematic project files, converts them into its own internal format and then provides you with an embeddable version of the circuit, similar to Google Maps but for electronics schematics. You can test out a sample right here. From a blogging perspective, it was trivial to embed the schematics below. It needs a feature to do more than import files - a simple, online tool to create and share basic schematics would be a great replacement for some of the drawings that hams create in MS Paint and post on the web.
You can pan, zoom, go fullscreen, mouse over components to see what they are and we have plans for lots more features yet.

Baofeng UV-3R: CHIRP Now Available for Testing
You've got to love software with frequent builds...
Support is added in today's build:Via the UV-3R Yahoo Group
http://trac.chirp.danplanet.com/chirp_daily/daily-07262011/
This is a first stab and only represents a couple hours of work, but it
seems to work for me. Feedback is appreciated, although I'd prefer it go
to the chirp_users list if possible. Future fixes and enhancement
announcements go to that list.
Thanks!
